(OOC: If it doesn't say where the gift is, you can either assume she's handed it over to the character specifically, or we can play something out, but you're all free to choose when it happens. And feel free to add on your character's reactions and such :D. Regardless, I'm just a dork who finds these things fun. Merry Christmas to you all <3) Millie, Mike, Isabel & Kit Logan -- In a gift bag, there is a gift for Mike, Millie, Isabel, and for Kit. Along with a Christmas Card that has clearly been attacked by a crayon, it says, "To Isabel (and Millie, Mike and Kit), Merry Christmas, love from Ellie (and Alex and David)." Claire Fisher -- A small, silver photo frame titled "Baby's First Photo" and a small card that simply says "Merry Christmas, from David, Alex and Ellie." Connie Rubirosa & Michael Cutter -- A gift bag filled with wrapped gifts- cookie cutters, a baseball player snowglobe, and a little photo album, with a card signed "From Alex, David and Ellie." Olivia Benson -- A silly Christmas apron with a Christmas Card, coloured in crayon and signed, "To Liv, Merry Christmas, from Alex, David, and Ellie." Megan Wheeler -- On her desk, a gift bag with a colourful Christmas apron, wrapped in tissue, with a card attached to the bag, signed, "Merry Christmas, from Alex, David and Ellie." Zach Nichols -- On his 'probation' desk is a gift bag holding a jar of jellybeans, and a message that says "Merry Christmas. Welcome to Major Case." Cole Hayes -- On his desk, a Christmas Card that's mostly covered in Ellie's work (and a message from someone with neat handwriting), and a mini-stocking filled with candy canes for him and Max. Casey Novak -- A bottle of wine in a gift bag, signed from Alex, David and Ellie. |

After a hectic morning of diapers, driving in snow, uncooperative witnesses and an unfinished bagel, Alex was more than ready to sit down when she dropped in to her desk chair at the MCS squadroom. Bobby had already disappeared in to the interview room to start on his gigantic pile of books, Alex wasn't interested in sticking her nose between dusty pages, she needed a break. She took a sip of her coffee and allowed herself the chance to check her email. Once that was done, she started to wonder if getting back to work would be a good idea. Lunch was so rare these days anyway... Alex looked around the squadroom as she considered just that. |

OK. Watching Ellie watch the snow fall down was amusing. Her mind was officially blown, she loved it. Apparently playing out in the snow is a requirement, so I had to freeze my fingers off for her. Parenting is hard work. And if anyone wants to know, the pathetic snowman on my front yard is named Fred. ( Evidence )

Tuesday was a great night -- went out for dinner with my sister and sister-in-law, Katie. It got a bit a loud and a bit crazy, they get way too over excited for my taste, but it was still fun. We've known Katie a lot longer than she's actually been with my brother, so it was more about reminiscing of when we were younger... and still doing stupid things. Met the new detective at MCS. Good luck to him, he's gonna need it. Hah. Apparently a bit of a charmer, so I figure he'll fit right in.

Say whatever you want, but I don't trust these new phones. The old phones were just fine. Then out of nowhere (and with WHAT budget?) we get futuristic phones with so many buttons and sound effects that there's gotta be a catch. I'll let you know when I find out which government agency is behind this. |

I'm really getting antsy. To be honest, I'm looking forward to coming back to work. I'm gonna miss the routines I've gotten into with the baby (and Isa), but it'll be so nice to talk to adults all day. |
